Ways to Help the Earth

Easy Ways To Help The Environment  Here are some really easy ways to help the environment!  Bike instead of using cars to get places!  This helps with air pollution Don’t use straws, straws are a big problem right now. Take shorter showers!  Recycle  Use both sides of paper  Turn your lights off when you don’t need them on  Put on a sweater instead of turning up the heat  Try composting  Pick up litter when you see it Tell others to do these things 

What’s the problem? Plastic straws are a big problem right now, most people use at least one straw a day, and then that straw gets tossed in the trash.  But where do those straws end up.  Straws are very light so instead ending up where they’re supposed to, they can end up in the ocean, the beach or some where else in the environment.  Animals often think they are food and choke on them, and they can also  get stuck up sea turtles nostrils. What can you do to help? Start by not using straws, when you order a drink just ask for no straw and when you do need a straw use a silicone or metal one!  You can try and get family and friends to do the same.
